Having managed to complete a Bachelor’s Degree (straight to the pool room), whilst constantly being bombarded with a plethora of bodily challenges and ailments, my reality of the future turned out a little differently to what I had envisioned for myself. What remained was a skill not compromised by disability; tucked safely away in my brain, infinite in its availability and accessible from anywhere.
Writing.
Disability has stubbornly and pointedly led me to channel my various skills and experience into my diverse ability with the written word. Aches and groans may ail my bones, but words will be my saviour.
